I've watched blokes spend three weekends looking at Rangers.

This one's too dear.

That one's got too many kays.

That one's got no service history.

That one's been flogged harder than a hire car.

Then they walk over to me...

"Hang on... this one's actually a ripper!"

I'm a 2020 Ford Ranger Wildtrak 2.0 Bi-Turbo 4x4 with the slick 10-speed automatic. Built to work Monday to Friday, tow the toys on Saturday and disappear into the bush on Sunday.

I've got the Wildtrak looks, the comfort, the grunt and enough street appeal to have your neighbour peeking over the fence asking, "When did you buy that?"

Let's be honest...

If you were buying with your heart, you'd already be driving me.

If you're buying with your head, you'll still end up driving me.

So stop comparing every Ranger on Carsales like you're judging MasterChef.

Because by the time you've finished your spreadsheet of prices, kilometres and options...

I'll probably be parked in someone else's driveway.
